This movie based on the board game is so bad it’s almost good. Funny, disturbing and gorgeous to look at, Ben Wheatley’s adaptation of JG Ballard’s novel is set in the 1970s, was released in 2015, but has heaps to say about Brexit Britain in 2016.

So in my quest to seek the best weird titles on Netflix, these were the gems I uncovered. Typically I find these types of stories the most beautiful. The strange, the foreign, the alien, the uncomfortable, the mind-bending, the galactic. But I’m openly obsessed with storytelling and spend a lot of time writing, reading and watching things. 😉 Ok, that’s probably a bit of an exaggeration.
